Recent advance in surface treatment technologies
The 2017 National Conversion on Coating and Interface Technology Forum was held successfully as scheduled in Wuhan on Sep. 16th, which was Jointly supported by the China Surface Engineering Association Conversion Coating Committee and the national key laboratory of Special Surface Protection Materials and Application.
The forum attracted relevant researchers, including engineers and technicians from some manufactories and enterprises, experts and professors from some key universities and research in-statuses.
Focusing on the innovative and environment-friendly surface treatment technologies, the following topics of 16 lectures were discussed: the novel conversion coating and processing-technologies and the new applications, as well as the prospects for development. With the increasement of requirements for environment protection, there has been a certain trend to research and applications of resource and energy sustainable technologies, which strongly corresponds to the national strategic demands towards energy saving and emission reduction, and the development of emerging industries at the same time.
As a fresh-graduate, it was my pleasure to attend these lectures, which benefited a lot in my preliminary understanding of the research in this area.
